Research Manager and Herpetologist
After finishing my BS with University of Florida in 2012 I was a member of the Brown Treesnake Research Team in Guam from 2013-2014. I left Guam with a strong interest in pursuing research concerning invasive species impacts on native communities. In May 2017 I finished my masters degree and my thesis titled, "Comparative Energetics and Responses to Feeding of Copperhead and Cottonmouth Snakes" at Austin Peay State University.
I finished a position as the lab manager for The Ecology of Bird Loss Project (EBL) with Haldre Rogers at Iowa State University. I currently work for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation as the Interagency Python Management Coordinator. I enjoy working on and leading management projects, research projects and battling analysis in program R. I can often be found searching out the best herping, bugging, and hiking spots on my free time.
